Although a fairly established name internationally, Eviner's intricate, large-scale drawings and recent video works are perhaps less well known than they should be.
With Turkish contemporary art attracting increasing attention, Eviner's subtle hybrids of fact and fiction, ornamentation and figuration, look set to captivate a wider public.

I imagine myself as one of those old-time storytellers – a storyteller, however, who cannot control the story and is eventually swallowed by it.
