A major new talent, Pilvi Takala stages and films interactions that expose the submerged mechanics of organisations and social structures.
In 'The Real Snow White', for example, Takala records her failed attempt to enter Disneyland Paris in Snow White costume, her presence regarded as a threat to the carefully trained conformity of the 'real' Disney character within the park's gates.
In 'The Trainee', (2008), her failure to adhere to 'normal' codes of conduct during an apprenticeship causes consternation and resentment among staff, leading to accusations of mental illness and instability.
